Creamy pesto pasta salad
A creamy green pasta salad takes only a second to put together and tastes delicious! Prepare a spinach or nettle pesto using Fazer Aito Oat Cuisine and mix with pasta. This pesto pasta can also be made dairy-free and vegan.
Prep time: 10 min
- 3 dl baby spinach or nettle leaves
- 3 dl basil leaves
- 1 dl almonds or sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp nutritional yeast or (vegan) parmesan
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 dl Fazer Aito Oat Cuisine
- (glutenfree) pasta
Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender until you have a coarse pesto sauce. Taste and add more salt if needed.
Use the pesto with cold or warm pasta or as an addition to any savory dish.
For a cheesier flavour, try using Fazer Aito Oat Cuisine Taste of Cheese in the pesto!
Tip: To get a more nuttier deeper flavor to the pesto, toast the nuts or seeds in a hot dry pan for a minute or two.
